Parents and Guardians,
What a nightmare the past 30+ hours have been. I hope everyone is well and all of your family and friends are safe and sound during this unimaginable time for our town. As usual, I hold no more information about school on Friday than you. As it was, we were supposed to (1) have our DIBELS assessment, (2) watch "Tangled" and have a relatively relaxing day, and (3) present our Poetry Showcase in the afternoon.
If we return to school tomorrow, I do not know if we will have our DIBELS assessment as scheduled, but I think it will be likely that we will continue on regular schedule and days missed will be made up later. If we go, we will have our spelling test as scheduled, but if we don't return until Monday, we will just move on and skip this one.
Additionally, because of our 2 days lost, we will be postponing our Poetry Showcase until further notice. I will reschedule it for a week or two in the future.
Once I know more, I will try to keep everyone informed! Please bear with me as we try to rearrange this very busy time!
